What is Chiropractic and chiropractors?
Doctors of chiropractic are specialized in spinal care. Their main concern is the relationship between spinal column and its discs at one end and spinal cord and nerves at the other end.
Chiropractors do not utilize drugs or surgery in their practice.

However, there are times when a chiropractor will recommend that the patient consult another practitioner if these or other methods of treatment.

What is Spine, nervous System and its relation to health?
Your nervous system controls and coordinates every function of your body. It is your nervous system   that allows you to adapt to, and live in your environment. A large portion of your nervous system passes through the spine, it is your spinal cord that acts as the major cable exiting your brain, travels down inside your spinal column and branches off into spinal nerves at various levels of your spine. These spinal nerves then exit between individual spinal vertebrae and go to the various parts of your body.
To be healthy it is essential that your nervous system function properly and free from any interference caused by subluxations. This subluxations can cause interference to the nervous system at any point along the spine where the nerves exit. This can adversely affect the function of various parts of your body, and ultimately your health.
As everything we do depends on getting a proper supply of nerve energy throughout our body. This energy is The life force that is vital to every aspect of our existence.

The table below shows nerve distribution to each part of our body.

What is a Subluxation and what does it do to me?                                                            TOP▲

A Subluxation is when one or more of the bones of spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in the spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves, which disrupt the normal transmission of nerve energy.

If happen our body can’t function at peak performance.Sometimes, this will cause outward symptoms such as pain or illness. At other times, it can decrease resistance in an organ or system.
Or, it can produce a general decline in physical, emotional or chemical efficiency.

As the nervous system controls and coordinates all the functions of our body, If   interference
with the signals traveling over nerves takes place, parts of our body will not get the proper nerve
messages and will not be able to function at 100% of their innate abilities.

Since each individual is unique, the effect of spinal nerve interference is different for each person.

This is the major vision emphasized by chiropractors and reason
chiropractic patients seek the care.

What are causes for the subluxation?                                                                                TOP▲

When accidents, falls, tension, over-exertion or other injuring mechanisms occur, the inability of
the spine to compensate can result in minor displacements or derangement of one or more
vertebrae, causing irritation to spinal nerve roots directly by pressure or indirectly through reflexes.

This type of injury may call for consultation with a chiropractor. Chiropractors are the only professionals
who undergo years of training to be the experts at correcting Subluxation. This is done through
a series of specifically designed to correct the vertebral Subluxation in your spine.
